How we handle the information you send us.

What we collect
When you complete a form on this site we collect the details you enter: your name, email address, telephone number, country, company, investment criteria, budget range and any message you write. If you email or call us directly, we keep a record of that correspondence.
We also collect basic technical information automatically — the pages you view, approximate location derived from your IP address, and the browser you use — for the purpose of understanding how the site is used.
Why we use it
- To respond to your enquiry and to shortlist opportunities matching your criteria.
- To send occasional notes on the Maldivian market, where you have asked for them.
- To meet legal, regulatory, anti-money-laundering and know-your-client obligations connected with a transaction.
- To improve the website and the material we publish.
Who we share it with
We do not sell your information and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing. Where a transaction requires it, and with your knowledge, we may share relevant details with the counterparty and with professional advisers instructed on the deal — counsel, accountants, surveyors and valuers — all of whom are bound by their own confidentiality duties. Service providers who host this site, deliver our email or process form submissions handle data on our instructions only.
How long we keep it
Enquiry records are kept for as long as we have an active relationship with you, and afterwards for the period required to meet legal and regulatory record-keeping obligations. You can ask us to delete your details at any time, subject to those obligations.
Your rights
You may ask us for a copy of the information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it, or withdraw consent to marketing at any time. Every email we send includes an unsubscribe link. Write to invest@maldivian.investments and we will respond within a reasonable period.
Cookies
This site uses only what is necessary to serve the pages and, where enabled, basic analytics. It does not use advertising cookies or cross-site tracking. Your browser settings allow you to block or delete cookies at any time.
Security
Form submissions are transmitted over an encrypted connection and access to enquiry records is limited to the people who need it. No transmission over the internet can be guaranteed completely secure, so please do not send passport scans, bank details or other sensitive documents through a web form — we will provide a secure channel when documents are needed.
